  1. Remove the battery, and then replace the battery.
  2. Press and hold the Volume up button and the Power button at the same time
  3. Release both buttons as soon as the screen light up.
  4. Quickly tab one of the volume keys and then wait for the next screen (takes about 5 seconds).
  5. On the next screen touch "Reset".
  6. Touch "Factory data reset" and follow the instructions.
