Hi. Go as though you are performing a hard reset as per the tutorial http://www.satechhelp.co.za/2910/Hard-Rest-Mtn-Steppa-2-5982c3 > but on step 4. choose 'Wipe cache partition' instead. Then reboot the MTN Steppa 2 and observe. A hard  reset may be necessary if that be to no avail.
