Hi, my telefunken telc73giq went in for an lcd replacement but now my soft menu, back and drop down buttons dont work (respond) how do i fix this without a hard reset? I think the problem is more with the hardware... please help. The guy who did the lcd replacement says i broke it again and have to pay again before he will fix it. I cant pay again. I was in a hurry when i collected it so i never checked. Also the colour seems to be very dim now, even with the brightness being turned all the way up :(

Hi. Did the service man have replace both the LCD and touch? Kindly reply below. Update: The foregoing defines your possible situation.

1. The touchscreen/panel ribbon was not fitted properly. It will need to be redone
2. The touchscreen got partially damaged together replaced LCD (this will depend of how the LCD came to fail).
3. The LCD is a generic replacement and hence it does not offer the same brightness as the replaced OEM part (this also will depend on how bad the lack of brightness is - the issue may also be due to a defect replacement LCD
4. Though highly unlikely, this may be a software issue. You could try a reset but a firmware reload will most likely be the only recourse if it is indeed a firmware borne issue.
