Hi. Sorry for the delayed answer. Please do note that a simple hard reset will not clear a lost or forgotten Privacy Protection Password. A software reload is necessary for that purpose. Otherwise, after short pressing the Power key to bring up power, you will need to scroll down to 'Wipe data/factory reset' (select with Vol Up) > Yes---delete all user data > Reboot now ...
