Hi there

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 i9305.

Im connected to the Telkom Network and normaly use their free wifi service at their alocated hotspots in my aera, however, the last few days im unable to connect to their wifi at different hotspot locations. I took a friend with yesturday and he got the same error message:

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol-- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of wheter the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information availabile to the client, the status code 403 (forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mecanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding adress.

I contacted my service provider but they insist the error is not from them...

Any help on this please.

Hi. We mean to advise in depth thereon shortly. Edit: Assuming that your friend either has also been able to successfully connect to the same network in the past or has followed the same recommended course of obtaining authentication for the WiFi service. If you therefore have nothing to suspect your mobile devices' end or courses of connection taken, then I will suggest you phone TM's support again in hope to find a different rep who might be more clued than the former to hopefully account on how the same error could occur on two different user-end systems (assuming you guys did not use the same SIM card) and it still be maintained to be a non-carrier issue. At the end of the day, this error code points to an issue with the URL used to access the WiFi service authentication/access application by your SIM/device - something that could be carrier related.
