It just says downloading all the time and takes all the airtime but then nothing is downloaded

First make sure that your data are enabled

Make sure that you have Air time/Data bundle loaded on your simcard

From home

Tap Manu =>Tap Settings=>Tap More Settings=>Tap Mobile Networks=>Tap Mobile Data=>Tick enabled

If still no connections then you will have to check your APN settings' Call your network service provider for assistance with the APN settings

2. After through all the settings given above are well configured' You need to get the google play app working, follow the instructions below

Tap the google play store app' it will ask you to log in to your google account.

There will be 2 options (to create a new account or to sign in if you have an existing account with google) Tap creat if you dont have google account OR Tap sign in if you do have google account and follow the instructions on your phone.

Make sure that you buy data bundles (daily data bundles are preferred for first time setups and apps downloads) with your airtime before enabling data connections. Also clear cache from the Play Store app - Settings > Apps > All > Play Store > Clear cache... You can alternatively download the Whatsapp apk here using your browser and install it on to your VF685 directly (you will have to check the Settings > Security > Unknown Sources box).
I've been trying an it took my data ,my airtime but nothing is downloaded I mean WhatsApp please sort my problem

How many data bundle did you have?  it takes 15mb to download Whatsapp.
if you had more than15MB' You need clear cache on the Google play store app and open the app and set it to never check for Update. See the instructions on the link
