my cherry tabet say the airplane mode is on,

hi

my cherry tablet say I should turn off airplane mode, but is actually of but does not have any signal on the network and the message keeps appearing when i need to make a call or access my contacts, any idea what could be the problem and what should I do to get this resolved
related to an answer for: airport mode

Hello' Thomas, Press and hold the power button until your reboots, to soft reset your phone. If this does not fix the bug you will then have to backup your data and hard reset your phone. Comment below for further assistance.

I have tried several time to reboot it, but the problem does not get resolved, the phone is status currently is `` no service``

Hi. It sounds like you have a damaged IMEI number. An issue not uncommon to the Mobicel Cherry tablet models. Advise if you have access to a computer or not.

Sorry, not a damaged IMEI but likely a corrupted firmware. You can reload the software if you have access to a computer by following the tutorial here http://www.satechhelp.co.za/10994/Mobicel-Cherry-Firmware-Flashing-Tutorial

thanks for your respond, I have used the link you gave me and extracted the file, but when I need to load the `scatter file` it say invalid scatter and I tried all the files that are available in the folders but still, I don't know if there is anything that am doing wrong, up to so far I think I have followed the all the steps

Have you tried a hard reset?
Navigate to the firmware extracted folder, open scatter file using note pad it must contains a several '#' in the beginning of the first line' if there is something else except the # then delete it, save and load it again.

The first line should look like this #####################################################################  General Setting ###
