De screen has cracked i went everywhere where they fix phones they say the cant get the screens anywhere, its not in the market . I went to Fochini where I bought it they tell me that to fix it I have to pay R800 n the phone is R1000 n they have to send it to Johannesburg to b fixed. How can the screen cost 95% of the whole phone's price?

Hi. Order the replacement screen from us and have it installed for you locally or mail it to us and we will do everything. Either than than that, the next best way will be to go via http://mobicell.co.za/contact/ - they will then adviced as to where the nearest service center near you is. Following this you will have to courier your Mercury to this center for repairs if you cannot drop it in person. They will the quote you and repair it and courier it back after payment. Parts replacement can be quite costlly though going via Mobicell may save you a rand or two from the Fochini offer. This is because mobile phones are manuafacturer by automated machinery (which measure is cost effective) while repairs are to be perfomed by human technicians who's hourly rate can be really high.
