Hey - Dean. Then you are you looking at two possibilities.

1.  A corrupt firmware or the Android ROM files. The ROM you can try flashing is discussed in the answer here http://www.satechhelp.co.za/4212/Android-Device-Enter-Recovery-Mode.
2. Hardware failure - this will need you visit your Vodacom shop.
