Help with resetting phone to factory settings

in ZTE
0 votes

I am travelling in Brazil with my South African phone. I bought a local (Vivo) SIM card to out in my phone as I don't have roaming. When I turned my phone on the Vodaphone Protect message popped up saying that my phone had been locked. I am unable to unlock my phone because I didn't register for the service (and thus don't know the code to unlock) and I don't have roaming on my phone so I cant put my SA SIM card into another phone to receive the unlock code.

Please could you advise me on how to reset my phone to its factory settings.

It is a crusty old ZTE. The model is Li3712T42P3h655041

Thank you SO much for your help.
