Hi. Do the following to prepare for and flash the Vodacom Power Tab 10 stock firmware or ROM. The ROM we now have is in an SP Flash Tool Format and flashable like any other MTK device. Only remember to untick the preloader.

  1. First download and extract the following: SP Flash Tool and the Vodacom Power Tab 10 tablet firmware or ROM available here: [ROM Download]
  2. Install the MediaTek drivers as per the tutorial here
  3. Launch the SP Tool from the extracted folder by double clicking 'Flash_tool.exe
  4. Click on the Download tab
  5. Click 'Scatter-Loading' > browse to and locate the scatter file from your extracted firmware or ROM folder files
  6. Make sure 'Preloader' is unchecked (NOT checked) - uncheck it if already checked on the SP Flash Tool.
  7. Then click on the Download button with a green arrow on top
  8. Connect the Vodacom Power Tab 10 to the computer via USB while pressing the Volume Down (or Up) key so the computer can detect and connect to its system (do see the note below)
  9. The flashing process should start with a red/purple/yellow progress bars - this take a couple of minutes and you should get a green cycle with a white tick and the text 'Download OK' when the flashing is completed. At which stage you can safely disconnect the Vodacom Power Tab 10 tablet and power it on for a re-setup. If it boot loops, then boot into recovery and wipe userdata and then reboot.

NOTE: If the tablet is stuck on, then you will need to open its back cover and slid up the battery connector off its socket and then plug it back again.

Users omit to check their emails and start to accuse us of fraud :( We process EFT orders manually so we expect at least 10 minutes allowance to verify after the proof of payment has been received though we release links within the same minute at times. I released your link within 10 seconds or so after receiving your proof of payment :)

Ohk - bare links sent as desired. You should only need one of the two links sent depending on what you mean to mend.

Thanks you soooo much!  I just have one last question.  How do i actually "run" the rom? do I need to have any software on my pc or do I copy the contents straight to the device?

Yes you do need a PC based software. We are updating the above tutorial and you can check back in 20 minutes or so
