Hi

I want to build my own home server and use FreeNAS, I decided to go with FreeNAS, because it seems easy to use and it's free! :-) I am just struggling to get the network configuration done properly, when the installation finishes and the PC reboots, the FreeNAS gives me an ip address of 0.0.0.0. I have followed this video turtorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-mRgeDS8rk, but I still can't manage to get the ip address set up. I have contacted a lot of people, but they haven't responded yet.

Please help me!

Thank you! :-)

I judge you should be able to avail the most relevant troubleshooting suggestions by presenting the issue here: https://forums.freenas.org/index.php Robbie. The issue sounds more advance and I reckon only folks with more experimental background on the particular server software can best advise.
