Below are steps to flash the Mobicel METRO including a download link for the ROM, flash file or firmware. The Mobicel METRO is a SpreadTrum based android device and hence does not use the SP Flash Tool but the process is equally easy. See the below for the complete steps.

NB. The .bin ROM was only tested with a Flash Box but If you have a software that can flash .bin ROM files, then it should work for you as well. Mobicel METRO uses Spreadtrum Chipsets and not MTK. We have also included a .pac ROM flashable through ResearDownload R2.9.9005 and below are steps to be followed.

Start off by downloading the [ROM] pack and extract. Flashing is as follows

  1. Download > Extract and open the Flasher folder called ResearchDownload folder > Open the folder there again > open bin > double-click on the 'ReaserchDownlod' file with a black chip and two green/blue arrows icon
  2. With the flasher loaded > click on the gear icon on the far left > browse to and load the Mobicel_METRO.pac firmware file by double clicking on it
  3. Again click on the 2nd button with 2 gears buttons > (untick NV to preserve the IMEI) - you may need to click on the Backup tab > remove all  13 black ticks > click OK should you get any error on step 6
  4. Then click the Play like icon (Start Downloading)
  5. Make sure the Mobicel METRO is off (remove and replace the battery)
  6. Then connect the Mobicel METRO with volume down held
  7. The download should start > partitions should install one by one > You get a green 'Passed' when all is done
  8. At which stage click the Stop icon (Square)
  9. Disconnect the USB cable and power up
can't i use that method shows above?
i saw cutting lines so i have to ask before i do anything,
