How to reload the the Hisense U601 firmware or ROM

Hisense U601 unlike its brother the Hisense U602 is a Spreadtrum (or SPD) based and hence you cannot us the SP Tool like you would/have on the U602. Below is both a link to the ROM or firmware and steps on how you are to flash or reload the .pac ROM/firmware onto the Hisense U601.

  1. Download the pack here (Flasher) and extract it
  2. Install the Spreadtrum drivers (32/64 bit - depending on your system)
  3. Order, download and extract the Hisense U601 firmware or ROM from [here]
  4. Then open the extracted Spreadtrum_Flasher + Drivers folder > open the ROM Flasher folder > double click on the 'ReaserchDownlod' file with a black chip and two green arrows icon
  5. With the flasher loaded > click on the gear icon on the far left > browse to and load the Hisense U601 .pac firmware file by double clicking on it
  6. Again click on the 2nd button with 2 gears buttons > (untick NV_W preferrably) and again click on the Backup tab > remove all  13 black ticks > click OK
  7. Then click the Play like icon (Start Downloading)
  8. The connect the Hisense U601 table with volume down held down
  9. The download should start > proceed and end up at 100% ---
  10. At which stage click the Stop icon (Square)
  11. Disconnect and power up the Hisense U601.
