This Advanced hidden BIOS menu, only you system manufacturer can help with (it is just unfortunate that they are normally NOT willing to discuss or disclose the procedure to access this Advanced hidden BIOS menu thereby). Alternative to them you can make a backup of your current BIOS and try flashing in a newer version and observe. Do make a backup as something may go wrong during the flashing resulting in the need to reload the previous version.

Since this may vary from model to model, I do not know if you can kindly comment with your Dell laptop's complete model number so we can try and offer model specific assistance. Thanks

Thanks and sorry for the delay - Dell offers no option to back up BIOS prior to flashing an update. Once you update your BIOS, you will not be able to reverse those changes. This applies to any Dell System. Also note that updating BIOS is not recommended unless there system is posing serious BIOS borne issues as if anything should go wrong, you may be left with no other option but to either have the BIOS chip desoldered from the mobo to be reflashed or the replacement of the motherboard as whole.
