Before you start, if you have Windows 8/10 with 64 bits, then turn of Signature Enforcement by following the steps here: https://satechhelp.co.za/14368/how-disable-signature-enforcement-windows-64bit and then proceed with the steps below afterwards. (For Win 7 64 bits, go here),

  1. Download the Spreadtrum SCIU2S USB driver here - unzip it when done (you can place the unzipped folder of the Spreadtrum SCIU2S USB driver at the desktop for easy access on steps 9)
  2. Then click Start > right-click on 'Computer' > click Properties from the pop up menu
  3. Click 'Device Manager'
  4. On the Device Manager window, right-click on you computer name eg. 'John Smith PC - click on 'Add legacy hardware'
  5. Click 'Next' on the next window
  6. Select 'Install the hardware that I manually select from list (Advance)' then click 'Next'
  7. Click 'Next'
  8. Click 'Have Disk'
  9. Click browse > go to the desktop through the browse window and select the Spreadtrum SCIU2S USB driver folder > the choose the 1st if you are on 64 bit or the 2nd if you are on 32 bit > click Open > Ok > Next > Next > Install this driver anyway... wait for the installation to complete and click 'Finish'
