How to reload a firmware onto the Netsurfer FMT-Nm7054-01 Tablet

Below are some firmware reloading steps that should be able to help out is your Netsurfer FMT-NM7054-01 tablet is ever stuck on a boot loop/hang on the logo or is you ever get attached by virus.

Follow the foregoing step to get by the firmware updating or flashing process.

  1. First download and extract the following: SP Flash Tool and the Netsufer FMT-NM7054-01 tablet firmware or ROM from here: [ROM Download]
  2. Install the MediaTek drivers as per the tutorial here
  3. Launch the SP Tool from the extracted folder by double clicking 'Flash_tool.exe
  4. Click 'Scatter-Loading' > browse to and locate the scatter *.txt file from your extracted firmware files
  5. Click Format > Auto format flash > format whole flash (except bootloader) > Start > connect the tab while it is off
  6. You soon get 'Format OK'
  7. Disconnect the tablet
  8. Click on the Download tab
  9. Remove ticks or check marks from: Preloader, Userdata & Cache .
  10. Then click on the Download button with a green arrow on top
  11. Connect the Netsufer FMT-NM7054-01 to the computer via USB while pressing the Volume Down (or Up) key so the computer can detect and connect to its system
  12. The flashing process should start with a red/purple/yellow progress bars and you should get a green cycle with a white tick and the text 'Download OK' when the flashing is completed. At which stage you can safely disconnect the Netsufer FMT-NM7054-01 table and power it on for a re-setup.
