I have forgotten my pattern and would like to know how I can hard reset or master reset the Mobicel Matrix to factory defaults. I do not mind loosing everything currently stored or saved in the device - I just want to regain access to the device. Please help.

Hey Maake - You can hard reset the Mobicel Matrix in the following way to clear the forgotten pattern.

1. Turn the Mobicel Matrix off
2. Press and hold the following keys at the same time (Volume Up+Volume Down+Power key) until you get a black screen with two options written in white. You get: Recovery mode: Volume Up and Factory mode: Volume down
3. Short press the Volume up key to enter the "Recovery mode"
4. You will then see the green Android robot lying on it back with the tex "No Command" below it.
5. Short press the Power button to display the "Android system recovery menu"
6. Scroll with the Volume down and highlight "Wipe data/factory reset"
7. Confirm selection using the Options/Menu touch button at the bottom left - (it looks something like this: [=] on the left of the Home touch key)
8. Scroll with the Volume down and highlight "Yes---delete all user data"
9. Again confirm selection using the Options/Menu touch button at the bottom left - (it looks something like this: [=] on the left of the Home touch key) Wait until the "Wiping..." is completed
10. With "Reboot now" highlighted, confirm to restart the phone by short tapping the Options/Menu touch button at the bottom left - (it looks something like this: [=] on the left of the Home touch key)

Your Mobicel Matrixwill then restarts, and you will have to reset it up for reuse.
