Hi.

EDIT. We have an Odin flashable *.tar md5 file that will make it possible to root your Samsung Galaxy J1 SM-J105F. Find it here: http://www.saroms.co.za/product/samsung-galaxy-j1-mini-j105f-root-file/ - A TWRP custom recovery.

  1. Obtain the file from the above source
  2. On the phone, go to Settings > About device > Software Info > and repeatedly tap on Built number until you are a developer
  3. Back on the main Settings options, you will now see 'Developer options' - tap that
  4. Turn on 'OEM Unlock' by moving the slider to the right - tap ENABLE
  5. Turn the device off and boot into "Download Mode' (V- and Home and Power ... and then V+)
  6. Load the root *.md5 file under 'APP' on Odin
  7. Connect the J105f and let Odin pick it up > then click Start
  8. The device powers on when done.
  9. Download and send the UPDATE_superSU zip file online to your internal storage SD card (not external)
