hi I'm unemployed mother of 2 kids and I'm married my husband is working and he earns R12000 and after company deductions he will be left with R9000 and for that money he has to pay car installment, a room he rented where he works, and buy grocery and pay  other expenses. so the money he will be left is not enough for me and to take care of the kids or buy enough grocery for us because he lives in other town and he has to buy grocery for us and for him, sometimes we go to bed hungry or without electricity. even now we cannot afford to pay for my daughter crèche fees and it's been 6 months now..If I go to sassa and explain everything to them will they give me grant money because I'm struggling seriously

Hey. As per SASSA's child aid terms, a single parent must earn no more than R3300 and a couple must earn no more than R6600 to qualify. You will need to prove that the salary share received is equal to or less than R3300 to be consindered for any possible social aid.
