Best answer
  • Switch off your Vodafone vf685.
  • Press and hold the volume up button together with the power button.
  • NOTE: Don't release the button until the phone enters to the recovery mode and the touchscreen won't be working once your Vodafone vf685 is on the recovery mode (that's normal).
  • On the recovery mode' use the volume up/down to move the highlighter.
  • Now' Press the volume down button to move the highlighter down to "wipe data/factory reset" and then press the power button ( Don't press and hold the power button this time just "tap" and release fast).
  • Now' Press the volume down button again to move the highlighter to "yes delete all user data". There are 7 (seven) "No's" just before the "yes delete all user data" that means you will press the volume down button 7 times and then press the tap the power button again to confirm or to start the hard reset process.
  • You will have to wait for your to complete, normally a hard reset process takes less than 15 sec
  • When the phone is done use the volume button to move the highlighter to "Reboot"  and then tab the power button to confirm your selection and your phone will restart automatically.
  • And you are done. Comments are welcome
