Hey Bert - Sorry for the delayed reply. Though what exactly you are to do will largely depend on the device you own. I will assume you own an Android powered device. If it is a Smartphone, pull out the battery and afterward replace it and power the phone back on and see if the touch has not improved. It may be necessary to try a hard reset using the device's external keys while the phone is in off mode. If you have a tablet, you will not be able to do a battery pull but you may have a pin hole reset button either along the edges of the tab or at the back of it. You can use a pin to short press that reset button and observe. Kindly advice what device model you have by commenting below if the condition of the device does not improve with the above suggestions.
