- Check that the SIM card is free from defects (frequent removal of the SIM card can cause gradual damage to the metal contacts, which can degrade or destroy signal), and check that it is sitting in the SIM tray correctly. Any contact of the SIM against the metal of the tray may cause signal problems.
- Check that Flight mode has been disabled. If enabled, your tablet/cellphone will disable all wireless connection.
- Restart your device.
- Try a different SIM card.
