Hey guys,

I need to root my Mobicel Gem. It's an MT6572 device running Android 5.1.

I've tried all the normal one click root things, and I've downloaded the firmware with SP Flash Tool and then tried to make a CWM recovery with MTK Droid Tools, but it says it can't find the Kernel GZ and no Split Boot Image..

Any Suggestions?

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply. Is that image already rooted, or does it at least have TWRP or CWM?

If you can get the ROM > extract and email me the stock recovery, I could try to port TWRP for the Mobicel Gem
