Hey Gian. On certain devices, the only direct modifications that can be performed on the Google Play Store is to uninstall updates - to do this, do one of the following (depending on the version of Android your device is running):

Settings - Applications - Manage Applications - All - Play Store - Uninstall update - confirm

Settings - App - All - Play Store - Uninstall update - confirm

After the uninstalling, Play Store will auto update the next time you run it and common issue you were facing will possibly be resolved. Comment below with any other necessary assistance on this.

Please let me know if your device is currently associated with someone else's Google account as is that case, it will be necessary to hard reset the device (the only provisioned way to remove a primary account off an Android device)
