How to reset forgotten security code on Nokia Asha 503?

I got this phone from my cuosing who upgrade to a Lumia 630. It hs  security code which she cannot remember and I am buffled s to what my options are. Will flashing a new firmware reset the forgotted code. If yes how, then the how do I go about flashing it? Thanks

Hey Mandisa, Yes flashing the Asha 503 is one of the two method of resetting the forgotten security code. The other method entails using special reset tools which are very expensive unless if intended for commercial use.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED
A USB cable; Computer (running Windows 7 with SP1 and other updates installed); Nokia Care Suite (download); All Nokia Lumia and Asha Drivers (download); Nokia Connectivity driver (download v7); Navifirm Plus (download)

PREPARATION

1. Install the Nokia Care Suite, Nokia Connectivity Driver and unzip the 'All Nokia Driver' pack to a locations you will remember)
2. Launch and download the Asha 503's firmware using Navifirm as per the directions here http://satechhelp.co.za/2326/Dowload-Nokia-Phone-Firmware-Navifirm-Plus-3-2-Tech-Tips
