My Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 phone just goes on and off by itself . What could be the problem?

Not -the -1st-time -it's happening -cause -last -year -it -did-the -same -and -I -waited -3mnths-before -I -got -it -plus -the -warranty -is -expired

If this happens following a the pushing of the power button, then this should be a boot loop (not uncommon amongst the Android family. The most informed steps you can take it to can take is to boot into the device's recovery mode and do the 'Wipe cache partition' first and and then 'reboot system now' and observe. If the issue persist, then you will have to access the same boot mode and this time do the 'Wipe data/factory reset' and in the same way 'reboot system now' after wards and observe. Only be warned that the latter will delete all user data and apps on the device's internal memory.
