Hello

Do this on your phone: From Home touch Manu ==> Settings ==> More ==> Wireless & networks ==> Tethering & portable hotspot and touch the box on the right side of "Portable Wi-Fi hotspot" to check it and now you will the hotspot icon on the notification bar.

To configure/change hotspot name and password: Touch "Set up Wi-Fi hotspot"  and now you change "Network SSID" to the name of your choice.

Set security to "WPA2 PSK".

Touch the box next to "Show Password" and then change the password you want and when done tap Save
