I forgot my screen unlock password, How can I reset my phone ?

I have a doogee dagger DG550. I forgot my screen unlock password. Can anyone tell me how I could reset my phone please.

To reset the Doogee Dagger, do the following

  1. Turn the device off
  2. Press and hold both the Volume up key and the Power key at the same time - you then enter the Recovery Mode...
  3. Scroll down using the Volume Down key and highlight the 'Wipe data/factory reset" option - the confirm selection by short pressing the Power key.
  4. Scroll down using the Volume Down key and highlight the 'Yes --- delete all user data" option - the confirm selection by short pressing the Power key
  5. Short press the Power key to retard the Doogee Dagger DG550 as soon as the wiping is completed and your device ready to be re-set up for use.
