Nokia 8 android smartphone hard reset instructions on the answer section below.
You will be forced to hard reset your Nokia 8 smartphone due to the following:
Forgot password
Forgot pin
Forgot Pattern
Frozen on the startup logo
Freezing during use.
Forgot pattern or any other screen lock feature.

Hello.

Please follow the instructions below to hard reset your Nokia 8 to factory default.

  1. Plug in the Nokia 8 to a charger by using the Micro USB Cable that came with the phone from the store.
  2. Power off the Nokia 8 by holding down the Power button and choosing the Power Off option.
  3. While the Nokia 8 turns off' press and hold the "Volume up button" until you are delivered to the "No command mode"
  4. Tap the Volume up and the power button an the same time to bypass the "No command mode".
  5. In the Recovery mode' Use the Volume up/down buttons to navigate in the Recover mode.
  6. In the recovery mode' Choose "Wipe data/factory reset". Use the Volume (up/down) buttons to navigate and the Power button to confirm your action.
  7. Select "Yes". Using the Volume Down button to scroll down and the Power button to confirm your action.
  8. When process done' you will see "Data wipe complete" written in white text.
  9. Now' Choose "Reboot system now" to restart your Nokia 8 android.
  10. Follow the on screen instructions to set up your Nokia 8 android as you like.
