When you are presented with a very large (mainly text) webpage, it can be useful to be able to have a browser feature that let you search for a key word to help you locate the relevant section of the page faster than having to skim read it (which can be time consuming). On Windows-based browsers, one simply have to hold down the 'Ctrl' key and then press on the 'F' key - which then brings out a search field (where this field appears depend on the browser being used).
