Hey - While virtually all Smartphone internet browsers (unlike with Java powered feature phone browsers) are not very lenient on data, there are instance where an Android device is left configured to 1) Automatically update applications 2) Automatically backup user data 3) Automatically synchronize contacts, pictures, calenders and emails with Google. Weather applications also relies on your account. For a non-avid smart user, most of the above mentioned do not really have to be left active, and turning them off will have a considerable difference on your device's data usage. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
