How to flash Nokia 220 (RM-970) using Nokia Care Suite - PART2

  1. Navigate Local Disk (C:)> ProgramData > Nokia > Nokia Care Suite > Application Launcher > Applications > ... double click on 'Product Support Tool for Store 5' (it has a Shortcut icon of a small black arrow). The 'Product Support Tool for Store 5'  then lauches and the window displays - choose 'Work Offline' from the small login window.
  2. From the displayed 'Product Support Tool for Store 5'  window, click 'File' > click Open Product'  > type 220 of the windows that opens and choose '220 (RM-970' > a blue image of the Nokia 220 should be visible at the top right if all is done right.
  3. Click 'Programmining' at the bottom left > click 'Recovery' > Click 'Start' > disconnect the phone, remove its battery and replace it(the battery) again > Click 'Retry' > reconnect the phone to the micro USB cable within 15 seconds. The flashing should then begin... wait until you get a 'Flashing Successful' message on the screen. GO BACK TO PART1
