Try clearing cache on recovery mode

  1. Press and hold the power button and the Volume up button for 15-20 seconds
  2. Release all when you see the Boot Menu list with (Recovery, Fast Boot & Normal)
  3. With [Recovery] selected (by the <<= arrow), short press the Power button
  4. Powered by Android then appears and shortly, an Android System Recovery appears
  5. Scroll with Volume down and highlight "Wipe CACHE - confirm selection with the Power button

It may be necessary to reload  the tablet's firmware should the issue persist after wiping cache (and data in the extreme). To walk you through the ROM or firmware reload, we will need to know the make and the model number of the tablet.
