Is there any upgrade available for FMT-NT7a42-01

Hey Cindy, I doubt it was a legit update nofication (unless if it was a Google Play Store apps updates). Well Future Mobile Technology (maker of the Netsufer series) is somewhat silent about firmware/software updates rollout. And there are phishing update prompts that are not genuine from malware apps installed unawares. To double check this otherwise, do:
Settings >About tablet > Software updates > Check for updates... As for a stock firmware or ROM, it is available here: http://roms.satechhelp.co.za/product/netsurfer-dual-slim-fmt-nt7a42-01-firmwarerom/
