How to reset a Mobicel Echo 10" tab pattern

My younger brother activated it and now cannot remember it. Is there a way to reset it or it need service

Hi. Do the following to reset the Mobicel Echo tablet in cases of a forgotten lock screen (pattern, PIN and password) or if it is malfunctioning and will not boot. Turn the tab off. Press and hold both the Volume Up & Power > you should get a screen with the text 'No command' > short press power to display the reset menu > From the displayed Android recovery menu, scroll down using the Volume down key and highlight "Wipe data/factory reset". Confirm selection by short pressing the Power key. Scroll to a highlight "Yes ---delete all user data" and confirm by short pressing the Power key. Short press the Power key as soon as the wiping is complete to restart the Mobicel Echo Tablet. Re-configure it for reuse.
