My Vodafone E9 is frozen on the logo. Doing a hard reset on Vodafone E9 should be able to fix any bug. How to hard reset or restore settings on a Vodafone E9?

Please note that performing a hard reset on the Vodafone E9 will erase all user data stored in phone memory. You will lose the following user data.

  1. Photos
  2. Music
  3. Videos
  4. Apps ( user downloaded)
  5. Other user data

In fact the Vodafone E9 will be restored to factory default settings.

Method 1: Soft Reset the Vodafone E9 to clear cache and RAM memory (If occasionally freezing: 

=> Simple press and hold the power button until the phone reboots

Method 2: How to restore a Vodafone E9 to factory default ( If your phone is freezing during use, want to fix bugs)

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Back up and reset
  3. Turn on back up my data “ This will automatically backup Vodafone E9 data (such as Wi-Fi Password, call history, App settings and all files stored by apps.
  4. Factory data reset
  5. Reset phone and follow the on screen instructions.

Hard reset Method 3 (If you no longer remember your screen lock (Pin, Password, Pattern, Finger print scan) or if the Vodafone E9 is stuck on start screen or frozen.

  1. Press and hold the power button together with the volume up.
  2. Release both Keys immediately when you see a lying/dead robot with an exclamation mark.
  3. Press the power button to skip it
  4. In the recover mode Scroll down to “Wipe data/factory reset” Using the volume down.
  5. Press the power Key to confirm your selection.
  6. In this mode navigate by using Volume Down key to select "yes" and press the power button once.
  7. Wait until you see “Complete” written in yellow text.
  8. Scroll Up to “reboot system now” using the volume up to navigate and the power button to reboot your phone.
  9. Done
