Pad is connected to notebook via USB. My notebook does not seem to "read" the pad. DO I need to install a driver?

The Sansui LifePad EPAD17043G is a plug and play device' its supposed to install automatically when you connect it to your notepad. I suggest you try a different USB cable, connect it and leave connected for at least 5 minutes to see if the drivers are installed. Let us know if still not installing.
