my mtn steppa 2 switches on but freezes on the qualcom snapdragon image., what can i do 2 fix it without having to go 2 mtn myself

Hey Dudu, please follow the hard reset tutorial here http://satechhelp.co.za/2910/Hard-Rest-Mtn-Steppa-2-5982c3 and try powering it on and observe. Please not that this will erase all your user data. To try and preserve the data if possible. You could try and follow the same tutorial with one exception. Where it says select "Wipe data/ factory reset", choose "Wipe cache partition" instead. If that does not work, repeat the steps and go ahead and "Wipe data/factory" reset and observe. Let us know should you still have issues including whether or not the step fells hot/warm to touch at the back if left alone for 5 minutes at the Qualcom screen. Hey Legend, this proof to be a factory fault on the Steppa 2 model. You best bet is to go via your retailer if you are still under warranty and you still have the purchase receipt.

Hey - If you took it there under warranty and it has not expired, then I would suggest you take it back there again and see what else they will be able to do.
