How to reset the the Sharp XE-A106

It is just beeping and I am thinking I can just try and master reset it and reprogram it.

I'm doing all you say to reset my XE-A106 cash reg. and it continues to show all ooooooo flashing, and won't work , is there anything else I can do.

Hey Miller, To master reset your Sharp XE-A106 Cash Register, do the following:

  1. Turn off power from the wall outlet
  2. Take out the memory back-up batteries found under the till roll
  3. Then turn the mode switch to REG
  4. Power on with wall power the machine will beep 3 times and it will be reset to its factory defaults
  5. Reinstall the backup batteries when done
  6. You can then reprogram you Sharp XE-A106 from there
