She's on the Vodacom network her cell number is 0793491317
related to an answer for: please may I have the settings on the AG cell phone so I can set it up...thank u in advance

OK, thanks - do the following. Navigate to: Settings > Wireless and networks > More... > Mobile networks > Access Point Name (or APN) > (you may have to select Add new APN from options) > ... From there enter these values below accordingly to their corresponding names :

  • APN: mms.vodacom.net
  • Username: Leave it blank
  • Password: Leave it blank
  • WAP Gateway or Proxy: 196.6.128.13
  • Port: 8080
  • MMSC: http://mmsc.vodacom4me.co.za/

When done, tap Options > then tap Save...The reset on the fields on the phone do not have to be edited.
