Hey - This device is designed to utilize drivers provided by the Operating System. Make sure you are not trying to use it with a USB 3.0 port (the computer you are trying to hook it up to). Also, It is recommended to check the system devices to ensure there are no configuration conflicts. The easiest way out will be to use a USB 2.0 port if you have any on you system board.
