Hey Lungu, Maintaining a recommended tire pressure level is not only a safety precaution but also good for extending the treadlife of your tires and modern cars will trough out a warning of a U-shaped with an exclamation mark in side icon when the tire pressure drops below 25%. The acceptable tire pressure for your 2010 Toyota Prius is as follows: 35 PSI front and 33 PSI rear is the recommended minimum by Toyota. And 44 PSI front and 42 PSI rear is what would give you a higher efficiency and longer treadlife off your tires..
