Hi. We will advice in full on this soonest. It seems the recovery partition got corrupted. And thus is may be necessary to flash the image anew.
Edit: I am finding that the Vodafone Smart Tab 3G is using the hardware of the ALCATEL ONETOUCH I215X Pixi 7 - I am just trying to hunt down the ROM or just the recovery.img file which you can then flash with SP Flash Tool.

Edit: There may be network issues at time, I suggest you only flash the 'recovery.img' and see if that solves your problem. If it does not, then flash whole ROM as you will then have nothing to loose. Let us know should you require further help with the flashing. Please Visit this link http://www.satechhelp.co.za/rom-download for the firmware.

Hi
In practical layman's terms - after I download the 'ROM' from the link provided - what do I do? What does flashing mean and how do I do it?

Hi. A step by step flashing guide is here http://satechhelp.co.za/6361/Flash-Vodacom-Smart-Tab-3g and flashing means reinstalling a device's main software (the Android OS in your case) normally to replace a new a corrupt or older version..
