mobicel metro 2 turns off automatically

When I turn device on its only on for about 3 seconds thon it turns off.this happens only if my simcard is inserted but not without sim.what must I do
related to an answer for: How to hard reset the Mobicel METRO?

Hey Grant. It sounds much like the Mobicel Metro 2 has a bad battery or either the battery or phone's power terminals are dirty and should be cleaned. The phone goes off when the SIM is installed because more current is required and drawn for network search and connectivity. Start off with cleaning the terminals and only proceed to replacing the battery if the condition persists.
