Hi. This can be owing to corrupt cache. I will provide you with a link with the procedure you are to follow to try a clear the cache partition now now.

Edit: Follow the steps here http://satechhelp.co.za/1214/Hard-Reset-Vodafone-Smart-Tab-3g with one exception. On Step 5. choose 'Wipe cache partition' instead of 'Wipe data/factory' reset. When the cache wiping is completed, reboot the tablet according to Step 8. Let us know should the 'No Sound' condition persist and we will help troubleshoot it further.

Hello - Have you tried a hard reset? If a hard reset did not work then you must take it back to the shop you bought it for service/exchange.

Hard reset instructions: Settings==>Backup & reset==> check backup and restore==> Touch factory data reset and follow the instructions.
