Hi. The Gmail email login prompt is there as an alternative way to regain access to your phone. You do not have to send any email at all - you simply have to enter the email address and password used to setup the phone when you first got it. If you have forgotten your protection PIN/Password, then you most likely have to hard reset your device. Especially if you had not associated any Gmail account with the phone when you first bough it or if you no longer remember the Gmail email and password you used. Confirm your model number and we will try and walk you through the reset. Are you sure your phone is a Vodafone Smart First 6 - I ask because the hard reset procedure differs from model to model.
