Hi.

HTC EVO 4G The HTC Evo 4G uses the CDMA technology and does not essentially use a SIM card. The mini-SIM slot serves only for the 4G (LTE service) and does not offer basic GSM service subscription ability.

HTC EVO 3D The HTC Evo 3D uses the GSM technology and takes a SIM can for basic GSM service subscriptions and should work with virtually all GSM carriers worldwide when unlocked.
