Hi. Try the following

  • Ensure you have the correct date altogether (day/Month/year) and reboot your phone
  • If the issue persist, clear cache - Settings > Apps > Downloaded > Whatsapp > Clear cache... and reboot the phone
  • If all fails, uninstall the Whatsapp app and reinstall it again - Settings > Apps > Downloaded > Whatsapp > Uninstall > Ok...
