How to hard reset the Mobicel Cherry Tablet

I have forgotten my screen-lock and I need to know how I can reset my tablet to factory defaults.

Hey Ellen, do the following to reset a lost or forgotten screen lock (PIN, pattern or password) on your Mobicel Cherry Tablet.

  1. Power the Mobicel Cherry Tablet off
  2. Press and hold both the power button and the volume up button at the same time until the tablet powers on
  3. Release buttons when it powers on and wit for the Android system recovery menu to display
  4. Then scroll down with the volume down button and highlight the 'Wipe data/factory reset' option
  5. Confirm selection by short pressing the power button
  6. Scroll to 'Yes---delete all user data' using the volume down key
  7. Short press the power button to confirm
  8. With 'Reboot now' highlighted, short press the power button to reboot the tablet.
